I just opened another blog … here’s an intro to it:

I put together this site for an online discussion on religion, especially the Christian faith, and why it is the only religion which gives us eternal salvation from Hell.  This blog will be open to everyone, those of different religions and races, so that we might engage in deep theological conversations … so let’s start with:

Why do you think Jesus shed a tear?

It starts out with a normal day which is suddenly interrupted by conflict.  Minor chords depict this change, but then it moves to a happier note (no pun intended!) with major chords which show Christ bringing peace amidst the turmoil.  Here I work in “Be Thou My Vision” and then “More Love, More Power.”  With the ending note of the latter song, I make a few key changes and then portray Satan’s attack in the base being fended off by God’s angels in the treble.  The angels come out triumphant (as God always does!) and the song moves into a dreamy harp-like section.  Then the tension builds and now I take my listener to the end of a Christians’ life.  They are being carried through the clouds with Jesus shown by a co-composed piece “Rising Through the Clouds” and the Christian’s heart melts into joy with my “Happy Piper” song.  It then reaches a finale with “Did You Hear the Mountains Tremble?” ending on the chorus which tells of the gates of Heaven being opened.  So, that’s my song in a nutshell!  I guess it’s a little longer then I thought. 

I challenge you today, to let your voice be heard praising God, bringing Him glory and putting a smile across His face.

“But our citizenship is in heaven.  And we eargerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will ge like His glorious body.”

 1 Timothy 2:1-3

I urge, then first of all that prayers requests intercession and thnksgiveing be made for everyon – fro kings and ALL THOSE IN AUTHORITY, that we may live peacerul and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.  This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledfe of the truth.”

• Basically your duty is to pray for those in authority
• The result is a peaceful and quiet life
• BUT, you pray also so that every man will come to the knowledge of the TRUTH

Our duty on earth is to pray (act in love, obey God and bring Him glory, etc.)  Feel free to add Biblical proof to my last statement.  I’m sure there is way more depth to each of the verses I’ve given, so add in your thoughts. 

What do you think our citizenship on earth is?

CHALLENGE

1. Do a Bible search on “citizenship” and “duty”
2. Know what God expects of us on earth as dual citizens
3. Pray with someone about it and while your at it, pray for those in authority over you . . .

Parents, pastor, senator, representative, mayor, governor (yes, God cares about your prayers for good guys and bad guys), president . . . and even for other countries

I really wasn’t up at midnight when I wrote my last post.  I heard about this clock problem happening to someone else.  Anyone know how to fix it?  HELP!

As most bloggers can relate, I have so much fun blogging on everyone elses blogs, that I forget about my own, and use up my time off base.  So this is the first and successful attempt to post something . . .  so bear with me.  The goal of my blog is to give “clear, concise, and correct” (or in this case valid) feedback on various subjects.  My hope is that their will be a continual discussion/debate (not a fight!) going on upon these issues, so that each of us can be well informed upon others opinion and we ourselves get a chance to persuade others of our own views.  A verse comes to mind, concerning this:

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
